(More customer reviews)It's the right socket for a water heater element nut. The depth is no longer than needed, and the end of the socket is ground flat to better fit the thin element nut. The socket fits the 1 1/2" nut which the advertisement doesn't state. And it's heavy enough it should last forever. Only bad thing it took 18 days from the day of ordering until the day it was delivered. But I'm satisfied with the Camco socket.
