(More customer reviews)This item broke after three weeks of use; I had been using it properly, and it simply cut off in the midst of heating a cup of water and never worked again. Previously I've used a NORPRO version of this device, which lasted much longer (I broke it through improper use -- letting it boil dry). I'm going back to Norpro.
